Appointment of new vicar

It is with great delight that we announce that Fr Andrew Teather has been appointed as the next vicar of St Stephen on the Cliffs.

Fr Andrew is currently Vicar of the Parish of St Matthew’s Willesden in the Diocese of London where he has been for the last ten years. He is also the Area Dean of Barnet.

Fr Andrew is no stranger to the Diocese of Blackburn, or in fact St Stephens. Prior to his move to London he served his curacy at St George’s and John’s churches in Preston, preaching here for St Stephen’s Day in his Diaconal year.

We look forward to welcoming Fr Andrew early in the new year. A date for his induction will be announced once arrangements have been made.
